Kelly Coons

Kelly Coons is an instructor in the First-Year Writing Program at the University of Connecticut, where she teaches ways to use multimodal communication in order to explore one's own experiences within, aspirations for, and imaginings of the education system(s) one has moved through: a hot-button topic for her largely-freshmen students! Kelly holds a Master of Education (M.Ed) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Human Development and Education and Higher Education. As a Master of Arts (M.A.) candidate at the University of Connecticut, Kelly's research interests include 20th- and 21st-century American literature and disability studies.
