Amy Greer
Managing Editor
Amy Greer is a Ph.D. Candidate in the English department at the University at Buffalo, where she is currently finishing her dissertation about popular genre fiction, formulaic narratives, and ethics. Her research is primarily focused on American and British literature from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and her work has focused on both highly artistic and experimental literature as well as highly formulaic and widely popular fiction.
A recipient of her university’s Graduate Student Excellence in Teaching Award, Amy has several years of experience teaching undergraduate writing courses at the University at Buffalo, cultivating a particular interest in helping science majors write for a general audience. She currently prioritizes helping writers at UB’s Center for Excellence in Writing, where she consults with both undergraduate and graduate student writers. After she finishes her dissertation, she hopes to continue working with writers one-on-one to help them compose their best work.
